Ride Sharing – Think Twice
Notice Number: NOTC9925

Ensure Your Safety – Think Twice on Ride Sharing

Some Companies Have Aviation Ride Sharing Apps that offer:

* Easy flight scheduling – Just Tap a Few Buttons on your Mobile Device
* Convenience – By pass TSA checkpoint
* Low Cost Sharing
* Technically Advanced Aircraft
* And, All with the use of a Simple App

However, A US District Court of Appeals has found that these companies engage in “common carriage,” are required to possess an Air Carrier or Operator Certificate, and only use pilots that are properly qualified. Any entity engaged in “common carriage” without the necessary certificates is conducting an “Illegal Charter Operation.” If it sounds too good to be true, and it probably is, then “Think Twice – It May Save Your Life.”
