The US Air Force has completed a three-hour flight test of a XQ-58A Valkyrie drone controlled by artificial intelligence algorithms, a significant development for the service’s "collaborative combat aircraft" program. The AI agents that piloted the unmanned jet were developed by the Air Force Research Lab’s autonomous air combat operations team.

More than 400 students attended the fifth annual National Naval Officers Association STEM fair in San Diego, where they learned about pursuing a career in Naval aviation and other STEM opportunities from active-duty and retired US Navy leaders. Some students left the event with National Naval Officers Association scholarships.
