Signature Aviation has expanded its chain of fixed base operators with the acquisition of 14 TAC Air sites, all of which will be rebranded to Signature by the end of 2022. Signature will now offer services in 227 locations spanning 27 countries, with new US locations to include Buffalo, N.Y., Knoxville, Tenn., and Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Cleveland Soaring Society, located at Geauga County Airport in Middlefield, Ohio, was created 60 years ago for glider pilots and has grown to 300 members. Flying a glider requires aviators to read the atmosphere, and the skills it builds can help club members in their pursuit to earn other pilot certifications, says President Bryce Kujat.
