After a years-long break from aviation, Steve Quinn returns with a determination to learn how to fly a tailwheel airplane. This year’s Air Race Classic celebrates the 95th anniversary of that historic competition, which marked the beginning of women’s air racing in the United States. Created by the National Aeronautic Association in partnership with the Air Care Alliance (ACA), a nationwide league of humanitarian flying organizations, the Public Benefit Flying Awards recognize volunteer pilots and organizations engaged in flying to help others. |
