South Carolina Aviation Week is August 14-20, 2022!

SC Aviation Week exists to promote airports and the state’s aviation industry by highlighting the economic, educational and legislative impacts our state’s airport system and aviation-related businesses. Each year, South Carolina Aeronautics Commission and South Carolina Aviation Association partner together on this initiative, and Governor Henry McMaster has proclaimed August 14-20, 2022, South Carolina Aviation Week.

New for 2022, SCAA and Aviation Week were featured in the most recent episode of Carolina Traveler Podcast, which is produced by Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Come out and start your day by walking on the runways and taxiways to help keep GMU safe! The airport’s annual SC Aviation Week FOD Walk will be Saturday, August 20. Gather at the terminal lobby no later than 6:45 a.m. to begin the FOD walk promptly at 7:00 a.m. Please bring a flashlight.
