Mindy is the owner of Direct Effect Solutions, a woman-owned management consulting company based in Columbus, Ohio. She is an expert in human behavior and organizational dynamics and works with companies around the country to create high-performing systems.
Mindy’s Session – Truths and Myths about Today’s Workplace This session will be provocative and entertaining while it takes you on a journey from the past to the present to identify the truths and myths affecting the way we manage ourselves in today’s work environment. Through stories, facts, evidence, and observations you will learn to look at yourself and your work environment differently. This session promises to make you say “I never thought of that” and will encourage you to do just one thing differently as a result of what you learn. You will:
Identify significant differences in our lives and our workplace in the past 50 years
Learn ways to assess your behaviors and your beliefs to identify opportunities for change
Identify new techniques for responding to the increased demands on your attention
Recognize the importance of relationships, cooperation, and collaboration in getting things done

Golf Play golf and support a great cause! Proceeds benefit the SCAA Scholarship Fund. Golf will occur at The Carolina Country Club, and players/teams are responsible for their own transportation. SCAA will schedule tee times for players and teams. Registration includes a round of golf, cart and boxed lunch. The Carolina County Club has limited sets of golf clubs available. Please inquire about availability.
