He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Single and Multi-engine aircraft rating, Commercial Helicopter and a single and multi-engine Instrument Flight Instructor rating. Accomplishing his first solo at a very young age, Claude has accrued more than 25,000 hours of flying time in numerous piston and turbine aircraft. He is an individual who has exhibited professionalism, skill and aviation expertise for more than 50 years while actively piloting aircraft. He was a precision special OPS pilot for the United States protecting America’s Freedom. He has served as an FBO operator, flight instructor, and air show performer with his good friends from Spartanburg, Bob Simmons and Barry Brock, in their respective bi-wing PITTS SPECIALS. He was educated in Spartanburg City Schools, Carlisle Military Academy and Clemson University.
