Travis Air Force Base, located in Northern California, kicked off the 2022 California airshow season with Wings Over Solano. The 90° temperatures did not deter more than 110,000 visitors from roaming the sprawling tarmac and enjoying the sights and sounds of aviation on May 14-15, 2022.
After his first flight through the non-profit STEM Flights, a young man is "hooked on aviation," but he wasn't sure how to get started. The STEM Flights team showed him the way.
Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado, recently received a donation of $100,000 in drones and associated technology from Juniper Unmanned, a Colorado company that provides drone operations and aerial analytics.
